When MasterCard’s St. Louis campus went cashless a few weeks ago, I challenged myself to find ways to take it to the next level within my own team.
As the official party planner/cruise director in my group, I’m always putting together team celebrations, which frequently involves collecting money for showers, promotions and the like. Rather than collecting cash, I have started using MasterCard MoneySend, a person-to-person money transfer service. People usually don’t carry much cash in their wallets, so it saves them a trip to the ATM, and it saves me a trip to track someone down.
I’ve also challenged myself outside of work to get by on as little cash as possible.
